See Jumping Crocs, Then Visit Fogg Dam

The Top End is a famous croc-watching destination, with countless wild crocodiles living in the Adelaide River and nearby wetlands. Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve is home to one of the region’s thriving wetland ecosystems.

The Croc Bus stops at Fogg Dam after your croc river cruise. While you might not see jumping crocs in Fogg Dam, there are many wild crocodiles and other predators throughout the reserve.

Fogg Dam Wildlife

You can visit Fogg Dam to see a crocodile in its native habitat throughout the year. You may also see freshwater turtles, water pythons, wallabies, and buffalo roaming the reserve. Fogg Dam is a bird-watchers paradise, with various hides dotted along the dam wall.

There are three easy bird-watching walks in the reserve with routes around the dam, through the woodlands, and across the floodplains. Visitors to the Northern Territory will need a park pass to enter the reserve.
